Community Partners
CAARN facilitates connections between academic research partners and community organizations such as aging offices, Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs), public health agencies, and other organizations serving underrepresented older adult groups in research. These include Black, Hispanic and White older adults from rural, suburban, and urban areas. Academic partners specialize in conducting aging research that will develop future evidence-based health aging programs and technologies that are culturally tailored to Wisconsin’s racially and geographically diverse communities.
