CAARN was funded through an NIH grant, with additional support from the UW-Madison Institute for Clinical and Translational Research and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
2019
NIH funding helped CAARN expand to better serve African American communities and to add health care system partners with a focus on improving health for those with multiple chronic conditions.
2024
Renewed NIH funding to help CAARN expand partnership with the College of Engineering to collaborate with engineers and health scientists on developing new assistive technology research that can be accessible and affordable to WI's adults.
